Progressivism, Transgenderism and Kids

It's not an exaggeration to say that progressives are pushing transgenderism on our kids. Statistics bear out the fact that a life-altering ideology is being pushed on the youngest among us.

I’ve been sharing a series of videos about the ideological roots and modern manifestations of progressivism. It’s so important to understand that the battles being fought in election contests, school board meetings and local churches have been a long time coming. At the root of them all is a radical, secular movement that began in the late 1800s and is reaching an tipping point in our culture, as it seems poised to gain cultural primacy.

The most blatant move of this ideological movement, and the one that might actually awaken Americans to the danger of progressivism, has emerged in the LGBTQ movement. Many Americans adopted a “live and let live” approach to the idea that two people of the same sex could be married. The “what two adults do in their own home” and “love is love” arguments had a powerful impact on our culture’s consciousness.

But the transgender movement has awakened people to the total claims of a worldview that denies essential qualities and Divinely-ordained purpose in human life. A movement that has begun telling pre-school girls they “might really be a boy in a girl’s body” has caused Americans to wake up and take notice.

Hopefully, it isn’t too late.

I recorded it after discovering that the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital here in Grand Rapids, MI is providing hormone therapy to minors, helping them medically “transition.”
